Fees, Spreads and Pricing

Kulce is designed to make gold pricing clear before you buy or sell. Every quote shown in the portal is based on live gold market data, adjusted by Kulce's market spread and applicable fees, so you can review the expected KGOLD or USDT amount before confirming a transaction.

How the Gold Price Is Set

Kulce uses the XAU/USD gold market as the reference for KGOLD pricing. The portal receives live pricing through Pyth's XAU/USD feed, an independent oracle network used to bring market data on-chain.

This gives the Kulce market a transparent external price source instead of relying on a manually entered internal price. If the price feed is stale, unavailable, or unusually uncertain, the portal will not continue with a quote that cannot be reliably executed.

What You See Before Confirming

Before you submit a buy or sell request, the portal shows the key details of the transaction:

  • The amount of KGOLD you are buying or selling.
  • The estimated USDT amount.
  • The current market quote.
  • The applicable fee.
  • The expected result after pricing and fees.

This gives you a chance to review the transaction before anything is submitted on-chain.

Market Spread

The market spread is the difference between the buy price and the sell price. It helps the market operate in changing gold market conditions and supports a stable, controlled trading experience.

When markets move quickly, live prices can change between the moment a quote is displayed and the moment a transaction is submitted. Kulce's spread and pricing controls are designed to keep execution disciplined, reduce unreliable pricing, and protect the integrity of the market.

Fees

Kulce may apply a fee when you buy or sell KGOLD. Fees are shown in the portal before you confirm the transaction, so you can see the expected cost as part of the quote.

The fee structure may differ between buying and selling. Any applicable fee is included in the transaction preview, along with the estimated KGOLD or USDT amount you will receive.

Slippage Protection

Gold prices can move while a transaction is being prepared. To protect you from receiving a worse result than expected, Kulce uses slippage protection.

If the price changes beyond the accepted range before your transaction is submitted, the transaction will not continue under the worse quote. You can then refresh the quote and decide whether you still want to proceed.

Transaction Costs

Using Ethereum normally requires gas. Kulce is designed to make this easier by allowing transaction costs to be covered through USDT in supported portal flows, so you do not need to keep separate ETH just for gas.

Market Availability

KGOLD buying and selling are available only when reliable gold market pricing is available. If the Pyth XAU/USD feed is closed, stale, or unavailable, the portal disables trading until pricing becomes available again.

This is intentional. Kulce prioritizes reliable execution over allowing trades during periods when the market price cannot be confidently verified.

In Short

Kulce pricing is built around four principles:

  • Live gold market data.
  • Clear quotes before confirmation.
  • Transparent fees and spread.
  • Protection against stale or unreliable prices.

The goal is to make every KGOLD transaction understandable before you approve it.
