Onboarding

Onboarding is how you enter the Kulce portal, connect or create a wallet, and prepare your wallet for KGOLD market access.

Kulce uses Privy to make this process easier. You can sign in with supported social or email methods, connect your own Ethereum wallet, or use an embedded wallet if you do not already have one.

Sign-In Options

Depending on the portal configuration, you may be able to start onboarding with:

  • Email.
  • Google.
  • Apple.
  • Twitter/X.
  • Discord.
  • An external Ethereum wallet, such as MetaMask or another EOA wallet.
  • A supported hardware wallet through a compatible wallet connection flow.

Signing in or connecting a wallet does not require you to provide personal identity details such as your legal name or address. Those details may be requested later only during the KYC verification process.

Embedded Wallets

If you do not already have a wallet, Kulce can provide an embedded wallet through Privy.

With this flow, you can sign in with your email and confirm access using a one-time password (OTP). The portal can then create a wallet for you in the background, so you can use KGOLD without setting up a separate browser wallet first.

This is designed for a simpler onboarding experience while still giving you an Ethereum wallet address for KGOLD balances and on-chain activity.

Using Privy does not mean Kulce holds your KGOLD or USDT balance. Your wallet remains a self-custodial Ethereum wallet; Privy provides the wallet access and onboarding experience, while balances and transactions remain on-chain.

Connecting Your Own Wallet

If you already have an Ethereum wallet, you can connect it during onboarding. This may include wallets such as MetaMask, other EOA wallets, or supported hardware-wallet setups.

Your connected wallet becomes the address used for:

  • Viewing KGOLD and USDT balances.
  • Submitting buy and sell requests.
  • Receiving KGOLD after a completed purchase.
  • Receiving USDT after a completed sale.
  • Viewing on-chain transaction history.

Always make sure your wallet is connected to the correct network before submitting transactions.

Wallet Connection Is Not Market Approval

Connecting a wallet is not the same as being ready to buy KGOLD.

Before you can buy or sell through the Kulce market, your wallet must complete KYC verification and be approved through the whitelist smart contract. This extra step is required because KGOLD is part of a regulated tokenized gold product.

In short:

Connect or create wallet -> Complete KYC -> Wallet approved -> Buy or sell KGOLD

What Happens After Onboarding

After your wallet is connected or created, you can use the portal to:

  • View your wallet address.
  • Check KGOLD and USDT balances.
  • Start or continue KYC verification.
  • Review live KGOLD pricing.
  • Access buy and sell flows after approval.
  • Track requests and transaction history.

Security Notes

Kulce will never ask you to share a seed phrase or private key through support messages, email, or social media.

If you use your own wallet, keep your wallet recovery method secure. If you use an embedded wallet, protect access to the email or social account used to sign in.
