Token Restrictions

KGOLD is designed as a regulated tokenized gold product. This means it combines ERC-20 token compatibility with controls that support compliance, market integrity, and user protection.

Market Access Requires Whitelisting

Buying and selling KGOLD through the Kulce market requires a verified wallet. Your wallet must be approved through the whitelist smart contract before the market can accept buy or sell requests.

This restriction applies to Kulce market activity. It helps ensure that market access is limited to wallets that have completed the required verification process.

Transfers May Be Subject to Controls

KGOLD follows the ERC-20 standard, but the token also includes safety controls that may affect transfers in exceptional circumstances.

For example, transfers may be paused if needed, or specific wallet addresses may be restricted where required by applicable rules, legal obligations, or risk controls.

These controls are not intended to interrupt normal use. They exist because KGOLD represents a real-world asset and must operate within a controlled framework.

Market Availability Restrictions

Buying and selling KGOLD are available only when reliable gold market pricing is available. If the gold price feed is closed, stale, unavailable, or outside acceptable reliability limits, the portal may temporarily disable trading.

This protects you from submitting requests that cannot be priced or executed reliably.

Trading Limits

Kulce may apply minimum and maximum trade sizes, as well as daily or rolling-period limits. These limits help support orderly market activity and risk management.

The portal will show relevant limits during the buy or sell flow when they apply.

Why Restrictions Exist

Token restrictions are part of making KGOLD suitable for regulated tokenized gold. They help protect the market from unauthorized activity, unreliable pricing, and exceptional operational risks.

The goal is to preserve a smooth day-to-day experience while keeping KGOLD aligned with the responsibilities that come with real-world asset tokenization.
