KYC and Whitelisting

KYC and whitelisting are required before you can buy or sell KGOLD through the Kulce market.

Kulce uses Sumsub as its KYC provider. Sumsub helps verify identity information through a secure verification flow. Once verification is approved, Kulce can approve your wallet for market activity through the on-chain whitelist smart contract.

Why Verification Is Required

KGOLD is a regulated tokenized gold product. Because of this, Kulce must verify who can access the primary buy and sell market.

Verification helps support:

  • Compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Safer market access.
  • Protection against unauthorized activity.
  • A controlled trading environment for tokenized gold.

What Whitelisting Means

Whitelisting means your wallet has been approved for Kulce market activity.

After your KYC is approved, Kulce's service can update the on-chain whitelist so your wallet becomes eligible to submit buy and sell requests.

Connecting a wallet is not enough by itself. The wallet must also be verified and whitelisted before market access becomes available.

What You Can Do After Approval

Once your wallet is whitelisted, you can use the Kulce portal to:

  • Buy KGOLD with USDT.
  • Sell KGOLD for USDT.
  • View your KGOLD and USDT balances.
  • Track requests and transaction history.

If Verification Is Not Complete

If your verification is pending, incomplete, or rejected, market access may not be available. The portal will guide you to the next step when possible.

KYC and whitelisting are part of keeping KGOLD aligned with its regulated tokenized gold model while making the experience as smooth as possible inside the Kulce portal.
